Particle pollution and ozone are creeping up towards upper code GREEN/low code YELLOW, Friday, with more sunshine and less convection leading to more stagnation. The hot, humid, unsettled weather pattern will persist through the weekend into at least early next week. Temperatures in the upper 80s and light winds through Monday, will be balanced by scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms. The result will primarily be upper code GREEN AQI readings, across the Triad, each day, but low code YELLOW ozone and particle pollution can not be ruled out for areas missing out on the convection Saturday, Sunday or Monday (GENTRY).
